Gmega Electronics Co. Ltd, established in 1998, ia a professional developer, manufacturer and exporter of switching adapter, open frame type SMPS, DC/AC converter, and more. We have cooperated with many big names, like Philips. And our products are well received in the Europe, North America, Japan, and the Australasia.
Compared with other competitor's our products feature in small size and high cost performance. Thanks to our flexible design, our products can be applied to various potable electronic appliance, like DVD, MP4, iPod, laptop, and hard disk, and LED displayer, medicine test machinery, communicating products and chargers. To meet market better, our 21 R&D staff release 6 new items per month with their 7 years' experience. Moreover, we reinvest 6% of our sales in R&D. We not only have our own brand-GMEGA, but can accept ODM orders.
We have two ISO 9000:2001 certificated factories, covering an area of 18,600sq.m. There our 650 staff operate 19 production lines, which can turn out 750,000 pieces of switch adapters. Special equipment, such as oscilloscope, hi-pot tester, digital power meter and non-lead crest welder are adopted in our production, and we mainly bring our equipment from Prodigit, Ainuo, and other famous companies.
Our large output does not sacrifice the product quality. We have 47 QC staff, five years experienced, who inspect our production strictly, from raw material to finished products. We have cooperated with more than 227 suppliers, and with some of that we have cooperated for 9 years. Because of our innovative design and reliable quality, 93% of our production is for export, and the export turn over of the year 2007 was USD 38.7 million, increased by 14%, and the sales of this year expect to increase by 20%.
